Exhibition - Then & Now

Clydebank Camera Club have received a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund for a number of projects about Clydebank.

The main part of the grant is funding for a Photographic Print Exhibition of Images of Clydebank Old and New.

The Camera Club has around 1000 images of Clydebank old and new, courtesy of Mr Hugh Neilson, Past President and a lifetime member of the Camera Club. These images have provided the basis for a selection to be made to create the prints for the exhibition.

The main exhibition will take place within the Dalmuir Library Backdoor Gallery from Saturday the 3rd of October until Saturday the 7th of November 2015.

This will provide an opportunity for “Bankies” to see the prints when the exhibition opens at the Dalmuir Library 'Backdoor Gallery' on Saturday the 3rd of October 2015.

The prints show how the town has changed over the years and should help current and future generations see what their town was once like and to understand the foundations which the community has built on.
